Tumbarumba Shire provides no options for post secondary education, with most young people leaving the shire to pursue tertiary education opportunities or undertaking distance education. An Adult Education Centre offers limited courses and residents also travel to Tumut or Wagga Wagga campuses of the Riverina Institute of TAFE.
