Tumbarumba Shire

Tumbarumba Shire is on the western flank of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales. Covering an area of approximately 437,340 hectares, the shire rises from around 400 metres elevation in the north west to 2228 metres at the top of Mount Kosciuszko in the south east .

As of June 2004, some 3623 people lived in Tumbarumba Shire.
